New condo could be developed at Kapiolani and Ward

A one-acre parcel across the street from Symphony Honolulu and presently the home to Jack In The Box and the Galiher law firm, could possibly be the site of a new condo development in the rapidly developing Kakaako area. Howard Hughes Corp the owner of this prime piece of real estate recently went before the Oahu Island Burial Council in an effort to look at the archeological aspects of the property. Recently ancient human skeletal remains or iwi were discovered at the Aeo mixed use condominium project also in Kakaako, currently under construction.
