A'ali'i to include micro-units in Kaka'ako
Doug Johnstone, vice-president of development at The Howard Hughes Corp, announced on Friday that a number of units in their new mixed use condominium project A'ali'i, will include micro-units starting at less than 300 square feet. The 42-story building will consist of studios from 277-373 square feet, one bedrooms from 430-624 square feet, and two bedrooms from 696-835 square feet.
All 750 units will be marketed as "smarter living" with the emphasis on an efficient lifestyle, and living beyond the four walls of their home. To accompany this new trend in homes, A'ali'i will feature extensive amenities for it's owner's such as a rooftop fitness center, yoga studio, event facilities, bbq areas, pool & children's pool, just to name a few.
Last week Howard Hughes Corp hosted Amanda Dameron, editor of dwell Magazine who spoke about this trend across the country of a smarter more efficient way of living.
