Asahi Grill on Ward still serving up local favorites

Since 2006 Asahi Grill affectionately know as the "Home of the Original Oxtail Soup" on the corner of Ward Avenue & Kawaiahao Street in Kaka'ako has been serving up local style breakfast, lunch, and dinner to many a loyal customer. One of my favorites is the Chop Steak plate full of beef, celery, onions, carrots and tomatoes smothered in a savory gravy and served with mac salad and choice white or brown rice. With fast, friendly, courteous service and a casual shorts & slippah atmosphere, we're hoping this place stays forever in this growing community.
