Ulana Ward Village breaks ground in Kaka'ako
This past Tuesday, The Howard Hughes Corp broke ground on it's 9th tower in Kaka'ako named Ulana Ward Village.
All 697 units are being offered as "Reserved Housing" sometimes referred to as workforce housing. Aside from the few remaining studios, all of the 1, 2, & 3 bedroom units are sold out.
“Breaking ground on Ulana is a pivotal step forward as we continue to expand Honolulu’s homeownership opportunities for kamaaina,” said Doug Johnstone, President, Hawaii, The Howard Hughes Corp., in a statement. “The delivery to our local residents of almost 700 homes reinforces our commitment to contributing to our state’s housing solutions.”
Designed by AHL, InForm Design, Inc., and PBR Hawaii, the residences will be complemented by "experience-driven amenities," including reservable indoor-outdoor gathering areas, a fitness center, reservable work-spaces & conference area, barbecue cabanas, a dog park and more, in addition to the creation of a new public park on the Diamond Head side of the building.
